Discover two of the most beautiful natural oases of the Flatlands: the Golena San Vitale and the Dosolo Reservoir, where you can admire nature at the height of its autumn colours while learning to recognise unusual plants and species. Together with a nature specialist, you will witness the natural and varied beauty of foliage display, perfect for nature photography.


Saturday 23 October: Golena San Vitale
An enjoyable walk through 30 hectares of authentic floodplain woodland along the banks of the River Reno while admiring the rare natural features preserved by this unique area. You will marvel at the nuances of autumn while unveiling the secrets that this season brings to the rich natural habitat of this magical corner of the Flatlands. 

Saturday 13 November: Dosolo reservoir and the Water Ecomuseum
A visit to experience autumn nature among 50 hectares of meadows and fields alternating with poplar groves, woods, hedges and water areas: a real open-air educational laboratory where you can observe unique plant and animal life. A stop at the Water Ecomuseum with its unusual hydraulic artefacts is also included. 

Meeting point: 
Golena San Vitale: Via Aldina, San Vitale di Reno (meet at the access barrier on the private road leading to the quarry).
Dosolo reservoir: Via Zaccarelli 16, Padulle di Sala Bolognese (at the Water Ecomuseum).
