The ancient Mons Gothorum, now a holiday resort, offers a view of one of the highest points on the ridge. Visit to the parish church of St Mary of the Assumption (Santa Maria Assunta). Inside, you can admire the “Madonna enthroned with the Child”, a rare 17th-century oil on copper. In the square of the village, you can see the remains of the 16th-century Olivetan Abbey of San Michele ad Alpes, founded by Ramazzotto. Continuing through the city centre, you will enter the historical memory of its inhabitants with “Le pietre della storia,” (The stones of history) created by artist Severino Baraldi as designed by Giordano Berti and Letizia Rivetti.
