The Porticoes, Theatres and their History: evocative itineraries in the heart of Bologna to discover the places and people who, over the centuries, have made the City of Arts and Music world-famous.

Itinerary 1 - Walk along the Porticoes of Piazza Maggiore and Piazza San Domenico + concert Il Barbiere a fumetti
Walking along the Asinelli tower and Strada Maggiore, we arrive to Palazzo Lupari, the former home of a Bolognese diva of Bel Canto. Continuing along this street we find other precious residences of illustrious personalities, such as Palazzo Sampieri Talon, Casa Rossini and Palazzo Sanguinetti, now home to the prestigious International Music Museum.
Walking under the unmistakable portico of Santa Maria dei Servi and continuing along Via Guerrazzi, we arrive to Palazzo Carrati, the must-see home of the Accademia Filarmonica, one of the oldest musical institutions in Europe.

The itinerary will end at the Teatro del Baraccano to attend the concert Il Barbiere a Fumetti, with the Baraccano Orchestra conducted by Giambattista Giocoli.
The concert will be preceded by an aperitif in the courtyard of the Teatro del Baraccano.
